Greg: The little countermelody in the break was originally going to be a harmony vocal. We tried it, but it didn't quite sound right. So we just shifted it forward a few beats and assigned it to a sound that would cut through most anything.
Roger: Pretty much straight Pop, with maybe some Psychedelia thrown in. Contains both frogs and doves. I think I wrote the music for the verse/chorus (what is verse and what is chorus in this song? who knows?) and then John added in the break bit. The low guitar solo was really just me playing quarter notes. John sucked it into Sound Forge and syncopated it to the nth degree.
John: This is really Rog's song. I remember hearing a song on the radio that had gapped synth pads, and wanted to try it (which is why it's in this song).
