Rog: Greg’s vocals were recorded as two tracks, one with the even words and one with the odd words. It was really amusing hearing Greg record the tracks, since he had to sing only every other word. Nevertheless, he had no problem nailing the melody and it went really fast. A lot of what sounds like synthesizers on this track is actually guitar bits I played manipulated by John through Sound Forge. I always liked the melody I came up with on this one and wished we had turned it into a full song. In a way, we did, since My Asphalt Love borrows heavily from the pattern.
Greg: The odd recording was really needed because I couldn't find the right place to breathe...I wanted to hold the notes at the end of each line, which just didn't leave room for air.
